Hardware items
Small Experimenters Assortment
I put together a couple of these assortments to see if there is an interest in this type of offering.
You will recieve:
1-type KP4M4-029 stepper motor rated at 12V
1- BR805D Bridge rectifier rated at 50V at 2 Amps
2-1N5400 Rectifier diodes rated at 50v at 3amps
12- assorted, standard (not ultra brite), Light Emiting Diodes
This assortment is not for small children and you should have an understanding of electricity and circuits to get the most from these components. All parts included in this assortment are new and selected to be compatable with each other. The stepper motor will not function as a motor without a special driver board which is not included in the assortment. The stepper motor will function as a low voltage, low RPM, AC generator when the shaft is rotated. This is the same stepper motor that I used in making the "Mini" wind tubine on the Alternative Energy page of this web site but could be used for many other projects too. Perhaps a wind powered light up wirlygig for your front yard? A start to a Science fair project? Fun and educational to experiment with in any case.
Small Experimenters Assortment Price $5.95---Item No. H1
