REALITY school is a charter school with three areas of responsibility:
academic learning, civic responsibility, and
project-based learning. The time you spend on academics will prepare
you for satisfying the Wisconsin Academic Standards. The time you spend
learning civic responsibility will give you opportunities to serve a
community. You might serve on a legislative committee making laws for
the school, serve on a school jury, or be involved with a city, county,
or township issue.

The project-based learning will allow you to more
deeply explore areas of interest to you. You might be
involved with restoring an antique tractor -- which requires
obtaining materials (old tractor), locating part sources,
keeping a written log of processes, keeping complete cost
records, presenting the project to others, reselling the
project, and putting funds into the next project.

Or, you might be involved with
studying a lake or stream for pollutants,
wildlife populations, plant life, or other nature studies.
You would report your findings to local environmental groups or
the Department of Natural Resources.
