Dallas has been known for it's good trout fishing for many years.
North Branch Upper Pine Creek, Dallas and Maple Grove Townships, is a Class I brook and brown trout water for its
entire length of 2.5 miles.
Upper Pine Creek, Dallas Township,is a class I brook and brown trout water from 0.6 miles upstream of
State Highway 25 to the upper most portion of the Dallas Flowage (4.1 miles).
Upper Pine Creek, Dallas and Sioux Creek Townships, were classified as Class II brook and brown
trout water from the Dallas Flowage Dam downstream to the Barron County Line (5.7 miles).
This water contains a population of natural reproducing native brook trout and brown trout made up of multiple age
groups and in sufficient numbers for annual survival.
